My Mystical Experiences

Here is God’s explanation of my mystical experiences. If you have similar experiences, this should help you understand what is going on.

"Mystical experiences tend to be experiences felt or experienced beyond the realms of ordinary consciousness. Occasionally they are referred to as states of altered consciousness. Such states may involve ineffable awareness of time, space, and physical reality. Mystical experiences often defy physical description, and can best be only hinted at.

Such experiences are universal and share common characteristics, despite the culture or religion in which they occur. They are invariably spiritual, yet they may not be religious; that is, they are not limited to monks or priests. However, all personal religious experiences are rooted in mystical states of consciousness, and all mystical experiences are part of religions."24

Question: My mystical experiences seem to be the same with other religions/faiths., What’s the difference?

God’s answer:

What’s the point?
Where it takes you is not the same.

Since mystics of other religions have similar experiences, you may have a tendency to think that you are all on the same path, you are not

Locution

In the Chapter how God communicated with me, God explained what was happening when I receive a mental message from God. In mysticism, this is known as locution:

"An interior locution is a mystical concept used by various religions, including the Roman Catholic Church. In an interior locution, a person reportedly receives a set of (usually auditory) ideas, thoughts, or imaginations from an outside spiritual source. Interior locutions are most often reported during prayers. An interior locution is a form of private revelation, but is distinct from an apparition or religious vision because no supernatural entity is reported as present during the interior locution."25

Audio-Visual Perception

Question: Christian mystics describe their mystical experiences in a very emotional and passionate way. I seem more cerebral than emotional. Why is this so?

God’s answer:

You are rational. So AM I.

Question: Why is it that my experiences are not as emotionally intense as other mystics? Am I less of a mystic than them?

God’s answer:

They have audio-visual perception. It’s a moving experience.
